A collaborative and hands-on approach involving all project team members is crucial to the timely and cost effective construction delivery. Each project, large or small, is assigned at least one of our internal and one on-site field supervisor. Assigning the right team of professionals, trades and suppliers to the project, we utilize one or more of the following delivery methods:
Design Build
Group West has extensive experience under this methodology. A project team consisting of architectural, engineering, economics, management and other professionals with diverse backgrounds is assembled to collectively provide the required project services. This delivery method can be broken down in project phases and allows greater transparency, and time and cost savings.
Our on-site and in office project managers head all aspects of a project to completion. With open communication with clients and the project team, we manage the hiring of specialized subcontractors through competitive process and supervise on-site personnel to ensure all aspects of the project are completed as specified, on time and on budget.
We do that too, for those that choose to utilize the traditional architect or engineer led project methodology, providing specified services or labour and materials for a firm price. Often working with the design team using our practical hands-on experience, Group West assists in providing suggestions and project costing through the design process in order to limit the unhappy surprise of cost overruns once the project design is complete.
